Back to School With E! News
Yesterday I had the pleasure to show some of my favorite ideas for fall on E! News. The focus of the piece was back to school dressing for college. The part that excites me most is that this merchandise isn’t ephemeral. You can wear these items in the classroom and well beyond including interviews, internships and even a job. Everything featured yesterday is under $100.00. Pulling this story together, I realized that now more than ever, you can make small updates that pack a powerful style punch. Brands are on our side working to make great quality statement pieces for less. Here are the three looks I featured.
THE GRAPHIC TEE + ANIMAL PRINTED MIDI SKIRT
This look is both chic and comfortable! The Madewell skirt featured has an elastic waistband and just delivered to the store two days ago :-) I love that it’s not an identifiable animal- it’s unique. It’s perfect for sitting in class yet chic enough to dress up. I also tied a denim button down over her graphic tee.*Style note* Instead of a jean jacket try layering a denim or chambray shirt over your tee. Treat it like a cardigan. You’ll be surprised how much oomph it can add.

This is Fall 2019’s new jumpsuit. The momentum behind this utilitarian style has been building for a few months however in pink it’s extremely fresh! Pink has emerged as the color to get excited about right now! I’m loving the brighter medium shades-- think corals and lipstick hues.

Modern Plaids look important this fall. I was blown away but the quality and fit of the HM blazer we featured in the segment. This is an investment piece to take you everywhere.
